Earlier this year, sundgren trained with AIK, sparking speculation about a potential return. Though, he clarified his stance on the matter.
– I don’t engage directly with clubs; that’s what my agent handles. AIK and Degerfors are clubs I’ve represented in the past, so it’s natural to maintain some level of contact. That said, I got the impression that AIK was focusing on other plans this summer. Still, I wish them the best for 2025 and hope they can compete strongly, Sundgren told The Football Channel.
