Pallacanestro Vigarano has officially secured the signing of Valentina Resemini for the remainder of the current sports season. The 19-year-old play/guard, standing at 169 cm, began her basketball journey with Robur et Fides varese before transitioning to Sesto San Giovanni in 2019. Ther, she honed her skills with Geas, a club renowned for nurturing top-tier talent, where she remained until the 2022/2023 season. during the 2023/2024 season, Resemini showcased her abilities in Serie A2 with Roseto, participating in 29 matches. Last summer, she joined Basket Femminile Varese 95 in Serie B, contributing to 14 games and averaging 5 points per game. Now, she joins Pallacanestro Vigarano, eager to further develop her career and make an impact.
“I’m incredibly grateful to the club for this opportunity,” Resemini shared. “I’m excited to meet the coaching staff, my new teammates, and the fans. For the second half of the season, I aim to contribute to the team’s goals and hopefully achieve some memorable victories. Personally, I’m still learning, but I’m committed to improving my game every day. As a play/guard, I enjoy shooting, driving to the basket, and, most importantly, playing strong defense.”
