2025 Türkiye Junior and Cadet Chess Championship Kicks Off in Istanbul
The 2025 Türkiye Junior and Cadet Chess Championship has officially begun in Istanbul, with Semt77 representing our league. Yalovaspor,led by General Manager Murat Dönmez and manager Cem Saraç,was expected too participate. However, due to a funeral in our city, it was reported that they where unable to attend the event.
In other sports news, the Turkish Basketball Federation (TBF) held a important league board meeting at the Growth Center. The gathering saw the presence of TBF Deputy chairman Harun Erdenay, alongside board members Dr. Yılmaz Argüden, Selim Demir, Tolga Egemen, and Çağatay Öz Doğru. TBF Secretary General Dr. Serhan Antalyalı and Sports Director Alper Yılmaz also attended, along with team presidents and managers from the Turkish Insurance Basketball Super League. The meeting focused on evaluating the first half of the 2024-2025 season and addressing key agenda items.
