The Montreal Alouettes are gearing up for the 2025 season by bolstering their roster with two seasoned American athletes.

Wide receiver Jalen Wayne has rejoined the Alouettes after showcasing his skills during the 2024 training camp in Saint-Jérôme. Despite his participation in two preseason matches, he was initially let go by the team.
Following his stint with the Alouettes, Wayne secured opportunities with the NFL’s Green Bay Packers during their preseason lineup. his professional journey also includes brief periods with the Cleveland Browns and Buffalo Bills in 2023, adding to his diverse experience.
Alongside Wayne’s two-year deal, the Alouettes have also secured defensive lineman Trevor Mason on a contract extending through 2026. Mason, a former Pittsburgh Steelers player, contributed significantly in 10 games for the Hamilton Tiger-Cats last season, recording 18 defensive tackles.
Standing at an imposing 6’6” and weighing 305 pounds,Mason brings a formidable presence to the Alouettes’ defensive line,further strengthening their preparations for the upcoming season.
