(Montreal) The Montreal Alouettes have secured two-year deals with wide receiver Jalen Wayne and defensive tackle Trevor Mason, the team announced on Monday.
Standing at six feet one and weighing 212 pounds, Wayne showcased his skills during the Alouettes’ training camp in Saint-Jérôme last spring. The 25-year-old athlete recorded four catches for 26 yards across two exhibition matches.
Originally from Baton Rouge,Louisiana,Wayne joined the Green bay Packers in July 2024,appearing in three preseason contests. His professional journey also includes stints with the Buffalo Bills and Cleveland Browns.
mason, a towering figure at six-foot-six and 305 pounds, contributed to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats in 2024, notching 18 tackles in 10 games. Hailing from Arlington, Texas, he previously played for the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Orlando Guardians in the XFL.
