Dynamo Dresden Fined 119,100 Euros by DFB
Dynamo Dresden’s recurring issues with the German Football Association (DFB) have led to yet another significant financial penalty. This time, the third-tier club faces a hefty six-figure fine.
The DFB’s sports court has imposed a fine of 119,100 euros on Dynamo Dresden due to two instances of misconduct by the club’s supporters. A portion of the penalty, 39,700 euros, can be allocated toward enhancing security or implementing violence prevention initiatives. The club has accepted the ruling, ensuring its immediate enforcement.
During the DFB Cup match against Darmstadt 98 on October 30, 2024, Dynamo Dresden fans ignited over 220 Bengal flares and 40 blinkers, while also launching multiple pyrotechnic devices from two separate fireworks batteries.
Disruptive Behavior by Dynamo Dresden Supporters
The match was interrupted twice,totaling five minutes,due to excessive smoke caused by the pyrotechnics. Additionally, during stoppage time, a lighter and a cup were hurled from the Dresden fan section into the field.
