We knew coming into the tournament that she has natural talent and unwavering determination, but juggling demanding studies with high-level competition is no easy feat. Her silver medal is a testament to her hard work and dedication, and we are incredibly proud of her achievement.

Coach Darío de Nalda: Both hugo and Daren showed incredible resilience at the Spanish Cup. Daren, competing in his second year as a cadet, faced off against seasoned juniors with remarkable composure. Hugo has been steadily improving and is becoming a more well-rounded judoka. the key for them now is to continue building on their strengths and gaining experience at this level.
Moderator: Iker Martínez unfortunately didn’t achieve the podium finish he was hoping for. Though, placing seventh in a national competition is still respectable.
Coach Darío de Nalda: Iker is a relentless competitor. He poured his heart into this tournament, and while the results may not have reflected his efforts this time, his commitment to betterment is inspiring. Every competition, win or loose, offers valuable lessons, and I have no doubt Iker will continue to grow and learn from this experience.
