PT: I wouldn’t say it’s the end of an era. Michael is still a phenomenal player. He’ll be back stronger next year, no doubt. But Luke’s arrival definitely shakes things up.

PT: He has, and that’s great for the sport. A young gun coming through always brings excitement. It pushes everyone to raise their game.
MJ: What do you think Littler needs to focus on now to solidify his place at the top?
PT: Consistency. Every champion has ups and downs. The key is to minimize those downs and maintain a high level of performance over a long period.
MJ: Pretty sound advice from the 16-time World Champion.
PT: (chuckles) It comes with experience, mark.
