A young Swiss woman, under the age of twenty, found herself facing legal repercussions after a disruptive incident at a Livorno concert just days before Christmas. Carabinieri from the Montenero station were called to intervene when the woman exhibited aggressive and unruly behavior towards security personnel during entry checks.
Witnesses reported that the woman’s behavior suggested she was under the influence of alcohol or drugs.Concerned for her well-being and the safety of those around her, medical staff were initially summoned to assess her condition. However,the woman refused assistance and became increasingly agitated,verbally abusing and physically resisting the Carabinieri attempting to de-escalate the situation.
Due to the severity of her actions,the woman was taken into custody and transported to the barracks. Her visibly intoxicated state prompted a second medical evaluation,resulting in her being transferred to a local hospital for further care.
The livorno Prosecutor’s Office is now reviewing the case, considering charges related to resisting law enforcement and public intoxication.
