Tre’Davious White will visit with the Las Vegas Raiders and Los Angeles Rams following his release from the Buffalo Bills, per NFL Network’s Mike Grafolo. Garafolo noted that several other teams are also showing interest in the cornerback.
White, who was cut by the Bills earlier in March, was limited to just four games last season due to a torn Achilles. He’s still working his way back from the injury this offseason.
In seven NFL seasons, White has recorded 311 tackles, three sacks, five forced fumbles and 18 interceptions.
Before his injury in Week 4 last year, White had 12 tackles and two passes defended. His best season came in 2019 when he notched 58 tackles, six interceptions and 17 passes defended.
Since then, the former first-round pick has dealt with several injuries. In 2020, a knee injury limited him to 14 games. The following year, he suffered a torn ACL that forced him to miss 17 games across the 2021 and 2022 seasons.
White’s release from the Bills, which was designated as a post-June 1 release, will save the team $10.2 million in cap space with $6.2 million in dead money. White was set to enter the second year of a four-year, $69 million contract in 2024 before he was released.
Now a free agent, the two-time Pro Bowler is looking to work his way back from injury and land with a team to hopefully have a productive year in 2024.
