Tight end Hunter Henry has agreed to terms on a contract with the New England Patriots, opting out of offering his services on the free agent market soon.
Mike Garafolo is NFL Network reports that the agreement is for a period of three years and has a maximum value of $30 million. His base salary will be $27 million.
The 29-year-old could have become one of the most sought-after position players on the market.
In three seasons with the Pats, Henry caught 133 passes for 1,531 yards and 17 touchdowns.
