Alsatian Shooters Aim for Medals at 10-Meter Sports Shooting Championships

Among the 2,350 competitors engaged this week in the different 10-meter sports shooting disciplines, no less than a hundred Alsatian qualifiers will aim to give the best of themselves and win medals.

Among the senior riflemen 1, a lot of hopes are placed on Michael Dhalluin (Bischoffsheim), who will be competing in the rifle and crossbow. In the Seniors 2 rifle, Rémi Mathis (Racing Strasbourg) will try to once again add his name to the winners of the event.

In Ladies 1, Lisa Roettele (Racing Strasbourg) and Alexandra Geng (Bischoffsheim) are among the favorites in the crossbow.

As for Clémentine Krumm (Niederbronn), she will be motivated to once again reach the podium in the rifle. Pascal Schueller (Racing Strasbourg) in the senior 2 rifle and Marc Jaeger (Lingolsheim) in the senior 3 rifle will do everything they can to get involved in the title race.

As for the pistoliers, seniors 2 Serge Meyer (Richwiller) and Eric Humbert (Harthouse) will aim for the podium.

Regarding the youth categories, 29 competitors managed to obtain their qualification.

Eighteen of them are currently tenured within the Specter structure, and the other eleven come from regional internships. The Alsace Shooting League places a lot of hope on Antoine Iung (Riedisheim) who is among the favorites among the junior rifles. Héléna Ecale (Riedisheim) has also just achieved a great performance during the HN Cup match in Munich. The only Frenchwoman to reach the final and the youngest participant, the Alsatian scored a series of 53 points in the rifle, qualifying for the European Championships in the process.

As for Flora Mendes (Sierentz), holder of national cadet courses, she is among the contenders for the pistol.
