LPGA Maguire still ahead, Boutier 12th

On the night of Saturday to Sunday ended the third round of the Women’s PGA Championship, in Springfield, New Jersey. Leona Maguire retained the Major’s lead. For her part, Céline Boutier is no longer part of the top 10 but remains in contact with the best.

Never two without three for Leona Maguire. The Irishman is the only outfield player to beat Baltusrol Golf Club’s demanding Lower Course in each of three rounds since Thursday. This Saturday, the recent winner of the Meijer Classic returned a card of 69 (4 birdies, 2 bogeys) and remained at the top of the leaderboard (-7 total). However, she only has a small head start over Jenny Shin. The South Korean recorded a superb score of 66, the best of the day (5 birdies, no errors) which allows her to climb alone to second place (-6).
