The first victory of the year for Roosterse BC has been won. The team won 6-2 against Smashing from Wijchen in its own Albertzaal.

Roosterse BC had an excellent start to the new year. Actually, the conclusion was that the team had no child for the visitors of Smashing from Wijchen. Both the men’s and women’s doubles went to the home team in straight sets. All matches in singles were also decided in two sets. Nico Hermans, Sander Prenen and Xenia Koelmel were better than their opponent.
Only substitute Nikki Pobezin was unable to beat the much more experienced Lieke Maes. That picture was the same in the mixed doubles of Noah Jongen and Dorien Lups. Nico Hermans and Meta Knuth, however, went down in the only three-setter of the evening. With the final score of 6-2, Roosterse was able to go to Sunday’s match in and against Amersfoort with a good feeling.
