The FIA World Rally Championship has announced its official 15-round calendar for the 2027 season, featuring returns to the United Kingdom and the United States alongside a revised global schedule.
Global Expansion Brings Back Iconic Stops in Scotland and the United States
The 2027 season brings geographic shifts to the World Rally Championship following the conclusion of the previous campaign at the Rally di Sardegna, where Elfyn Evans secured the title after a dramatic late-stage incident involving teammate and rival Oliver Solberg. Among the most notable additions is a return to the UK for the first time since the pandemic emergency. Scotland will host this British round from September 30 to October 3, 2027. Anticipation surrounds the championship’s return to the United States for the first time since the 1988 Rally Olympus. The US round is scheduled for August 26 to 29, preceding the Scottish event.
Italy’s fixture shifts its operational base to the nation’s capital for the Rally d’Italia, scheduled from July 8 to 11. Meanwhile, the championship preserves its bookends. The Rallye Monte-Carlo opens the season from January 21 to 24, and the Rally d’Saudi Arabia closes out the year from November 25 to 28.
