The Tokyo United Basketball Club has announced the launch of the TUBC Academy Itabashi School, expanding its youth basketball programming in Tokyo with sessions beginning on October 19, 2026, tubc.tokyo reported.

Opening Classes at Tokyo Korean Third Elementary School

The newly established Itabashi School will operate out of the Tokyo Korean Third Elementary School, located at 67-1 Oyamanishicho, Itabashi-ku, Tokyo. Classes are scheduled to run on Mondays, catering to children ranging from kindergarteners to junior high school students.

Kids and Older Students Have Different Class Schedules

The curriculum is divided into three distinct groups based on age and skill level. The Kids Class, designed for children from kindergarten through the second grade of elementary school, meets from 17:15 to 18:15 local time. This entry-level session carries a monthly tuition fee of 8,800 yen, including consumption tax, with enrollment capped at 15 participants.

For older participants spanning the third year of elementary school through junior high school, the academy offers a Skills Class and a Fundamentals Class running consecutively from 18:15 to 19:15 local time. Monthly tuition for each of these older cohorts is set at 9,900 yen, including consumption tax, with capacity limited to 12 students per class.

TUBC Academy Builds Independence Through Basketball Training

Under its core philosophy of developing individuals capable of carving out their own paths, the TUBC Academy aims to build coordination, collaborative skills, and independent decision-making through basketball training. Registration for the Itabashi School is currently open through the official TUBC Academy LINE account or via the designated online application portal.
