TSV Falkensee marked the tenth anniversary of its FunFit studio with a celebration on Oct. 10, bringing together long-term members, staff, and club officials inside the Falkensee town hall facility. Unser Havelland reported that the venue, which opened its doors on the upper floor of the Falkensee Stadthalle in 2016, spans roughly 250 square meters and provides access to traditional fitness machinery alongside functional training apparatus.
Ten Years of Fitness Operations in the Falkensee Stadthalle
The facility was established on Oct. 10, 2016, under a concept centered around functional training, combining weight machines, cardiovascular equipment, and group fitness classes. Studio manager Manuela Hopper stated that the initial idea came from Philipp Perthen during his time as a dual-study student with TSV Falkensee, who sought to expand the sports club’s catalog with an accessible, reasonably priced fitness option in a relaxed club environment. Isabell Thräne subsequently managed the space before Hopper assumed leadership three years ago.
Membership Structures and Facility Pricing
Access to the studio is split between general club members and external participants. Regular members of TSV Falkensee pay an additional monthly fee of 19.90 euros to use the fitness room. Individuals who want to use exclusively the fitness facilities without full club membership can sign up for a dedicated FunFit contract priced at 29.90 euros per month for adults.
Hopper noted that the 250-square-meter facility currently serves more than 500 active users, operating at high capacity. Prospective users are offered two complimentary trial sessions under trainer supervision. On-site amenities include shower facilities, while participants bring their own beverages. Hopper added that a staff trainer is consistently on duty to assist members and develop personalized training plans, with an incoming vibration plate slated to expand the equipment lineup.
Anniversary Celebration and Interactive Activities
The anniversary event on Oct. 10 shifted focus away from routine workouts toward social engagement for regular guests invited by management. Entertainment areas featured a photo wall for commemorative pictures, table football, and beer pong. Attendees also tested digital movement and reaction games on an interactive Lü wall installed for the evening.
