Titouan Coucoulis Claims European Mounted Archery Title

Titouan Coucoulis won the individual U15 gold medal and team gold for France at the European Mounted Archery Championships in Centelles, Spain. Bruno Coucoulis, his father, trainer, and owner of the Capimont equestrian center with Nathalie Coucoulis, confirmed the results following the competition.

The continental victory builds on a busy competitive run that includes a French championship title in June 2025, appearances at the world championships in Jakarta with the French national team, a gold medal at the Winter Games in Spain, and a runner-up finish at the French championships in June. Alain Le Gall, selector for the French national team, named Titouan and his pony to the youth squad ahead of the tournament.

Three Disciplines Shape the Spanish Championship Battle

The European competition tested competitors across three distinct disciplines. In the opening Tower event, Titouan and his pony, Dream du Rial, finished second in the provisional standings behind Turkey and ahead of Spain, according to Bruno Coucoulis. The second test, the Raid, saw the young rider place fifth, moving him to third place overall in the general standings.

The competition concluded with the Chasse event. Bruno Coucoulis described the final push: “Titouan fought like a warrior with his pony, to win this ultimate event widely and take the gold medal, ahead of his compatriot Enzo Coli Jun Ong and the Turkish competitor Muhammed Cengiz Kilic, three prodigious young riders.”
