Japanese forged golf club maker Miura has partnered with NBA superstar Stephen Curry to release a limited-edition 300-set iron collection priced at 5,000 dollars.
Stepping Away From Callaway for Japanese Forging
Stephen Curry shifted his equipment allegiance starting this year, moving away from a previous partnership with Callaway to align with Miura Golf, as reported by Golf.com. The collaboration centers on a custom-crafted iron set that blends Miura’s traditional forging techniques with design elements drawn directly from Curry’s basketball career and personal preferences.
Limited Sets and Custom Signatures
Scheduled for a United States release on the 19th, the Miura-Curry collection is limited to 300 total sets, with each package including a certificate of authenticity. To elevate the collectible nature of the release, 30 of those sets will feature a gold certificate personally signed by Curry, distributed randomly among buyers. The irons retail at 5,000 dollars per set, with a portion of the sales proceeds directed back to support the Underrated Golf Tour.

Configuring the Mixed Cavity-Back and Blade Set
The technical specifications of the clubs reflect how Curry actually sets up his bag for a competitive round. The 4 through 6 irons utilize a cavity-back design engineered to provide extra forgiveness, while the 7 iron down through the pitching wedge feature traditional blade profiles. Miura paired the clubheads with custom-tailored Dynamic Gold Tour Issue SC30 Flex (S400) shafts.
Nods to Golden State and Four Championships
Design details throughout the equipment celebrate Curry’s milestone achievements on the basketball court. The 6-iron sole features his iconic number 30 instead of the standard club number 6, and the loft angle on that specific iron has been customized to 30 degrees. The hosel of each club is stamped with the phrase “I can do all things”—the personal mantra Curry writes on his game shoes. Additionally, gold rings adorn the grips and ferrules, symbolizing his four NBA championship rings.

Funding the Underrated Golf Tour
Miura’s financial commitment to Curry’s Underrated Golf Tour ties directly into the athlete’s ongoing philanthropic efforts within the sport. The tour creates competitive opportunities for youth and female golfers who face economic and social barriers to entry. Those efforts earned him the Golf Ambassador award in 2023.
Golf Success on the Celebrity Circuit
Curry’s transition into high-end equipment design coincides with proven success in elite celebrity golf competition. At the 2023 American Century Championship near Lake Tahoe, Nevada, he secured a dramatic come-from-behind victory by draining an eagle putt on the 18th hole of the final round, having also shot a hole-in-one on the 7th hole during the second round. He became the first active professional athlete to win the celebrity championship since 2000, complementing a basketball resume that includes four NBA titles and two regular-season MVP awards.
