Anniversary Football Reunion Highlights Two Decades on the Pitch
Former coaches and alumni gathered at the Hepingjie Campus gymnasium conference rooms to mark the 20th anniversary of the women’s football team. Attendees checked in between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m., receiving a registration package that included a commemorative 20th-anniversary jacket, team jersey, and club banner. Following the check-in, the “Two Decades of Green Turf, Resolute Homecoming” symposium brought together past and present figures to review the team’s history. Alumni shared personal stories from their playing days, accompanied by a screening of a retrospective documentary, before concluding with a full-group photograph.

Sports Festival Cements University Culture and Alumni Ties
The dual events were organized by the Sports Teaching Department and the Alumni Association, with the alumni basketball team and university trade union handling operations. The sports festival served to honor the university’s 70th anniversary, commemorate two decades of women’s football, and extend the student Lingyun Cup athletic tradition. According to organizers, the multi-sport gathering aims to strengthen alumni ties, foster a sense of belonging to the alma mater, and promote the university motto of “seeking medical truth with diligence, cultivating virtue, and saving lives” through athletics.
