Škoda Calendar 21st Edition Features Rare Cars and Top Models

Classic Skoda Rally Replicas and Custom Builds Headline the New Wall Calendar

The wall calendar has released its 21st edition, pairing rare vintage and racing automobiles with models including Miss Czech Republic 2021 Helena Čermáková. Organized by Roman Schavel, president of the Škodateam club in the Auto Club of the Czech Republic (AČR), the publication features 13 vehicles photographed across the Czech Republic and Slovakia by Radim Kořínek.

Racing Legends and Rare Prototypes Take Center Stage

Among the highlighted vehicles are two replicas of the Škoda 200 RS racing car. One version is fully operational and competes in hillclimb events, while the second exists as an ongoing development project. The lineup also includes a replica of the Škoda 2000 MI Turbo, a widebody machine built on a Škoda 130 RS chassis equipped with a 1,771-cubic-centimeter turbocharged engine sourced from a Škoda 720 prototype. That engine is mounted in the area of the rear seats.

Another featured vehicle is a replica of the Škoda 1000 MB modified in the 1960s for the B5 category. The original car, driven by Jaroslav Bobek, won a hillclimb championship title in 1970 and a circuit racing title in 1971. The calendar also includes the GIOM 1, an early 1970s car built on a Škoda 1000 MB chassis by a group of enthusiasts from Piešťany known as “Garage 10 Motorists.” Standing under 97 centimeters tall, the GIOM 1 was reportedly the lowest vehicle of the Eastern Bloc.

Diverse Fleet Ranging from Utility Vehicles to Luxury Sedans

The vehicle selection spans commercial and everyday models alongside high-end builds. The calendar features a Škoda Favorit Pickup with a wheelbase extended by 650 millimeters, a factory utility vehicle known locally as the “dachshund.” Additional vehicles featured in the 21st edition include a Škoda 1201 STW, a Škoda Popular 927, a Škoda 445, a Škoda 1202 ambulance, a fully restored Škoda Rapid 136, an original Škoda Felicia, and a Škoda 120 GLS.

Photographer Radim Kořínek captured the vehicles in various locations across the Czech Republic and, for the first time in the calendar’s history, in Slovakia. Selected sites include the remains of a highway bridge near Ostopovic, the Za Lužánkami stadium in Brno, Janův hrad in the Lednice-Valtice area, and a historical windmill in Kunkovice.

Calendar Specifications and Behind-the-Lens Details

The wall calendar measures 610 by 480 millimeters. To assist automotive enthusiasts and travelers, the rear side of the publication includes detailed descriptions of each vehicle alongside the exact geographic locations where the photographs were taken.

In addition to Helena Čermáková, models Hana Cermanová and Nicole Priščová participated in the photo shoot alongside the vehicle collection.
