Unlike the opening day, which featured multi-group cross-competition, the second day of the tournament was dedicated entirely to youth brackets. Players across the 7–8, 9–10, 11–12, 13–15, and 16–18 age groups rotated through the courts, utilizing speed and defensive pressure to define the tournament’s youth divisions. The youth category stands as one of the most heavily populated segments across the tournament’s eight major sectors and 35 distinct groups. Competitors reaching the provincial finals advanced through village, township, county, and municipal elimination rounds, representing schools and youth clubs across Shaanxi Province.

Tactical Execution in the Under-12 Group

During the afternoon round-robin matches in the boys’ 11–12 age group, Tongchuan High-Tech Experimental School faced off against Xunyi County of咸阳 (Xianyang). Despite their youth, both squads deployed structured defensive pressure, perimeter shooting, and screen-and-roll sequences. Tongchuan High-Tech Experimental School captain Yuan Longyao noted that while his team executed high-loop passes and transition layups effectively during their victory, defensive transition and ball-handling under pressure require improvement following the match.

Organizers relocated the tournament footprint from the Zhonghe Plaza at the Qujiang Ruins Park directly into a commercial retail space to integrate competitive sports into daily consumer traffic.
