Playas de Rosarito Department Leads Physical Education Training

Thirty primary and secondary school physical education instructors participated in a municipal badminton training session organized by the Secretaría de Educación (SE) in Playas de Rosarito. The program focuses on updating instructors on official game rules, discipline standards, and competition formats to strengthen the municipality’s standings in regional and national sports events.

Education delegate Juan Carlos Huerta Ávila stated that continuous teacher training through collaborative work sessions is essential for improving student health and athletic outcomes during the current academic cycle. To offer a comprehensive education, it is necessary to include physical activity, so starting this cycle we met with all areas and teachers so that all activities of the cycle are planned together, Huerta Ávila said, emphasizing the need for dynamic teaching methods that encourage students to adopt active lifestyles.

Instructors Teach Teachers to Simplify Rules into Playful Games

Regional Physical Education Coordinator Rafael Arturo Vega Rojo praised the instructional staff for organizing year-round activities that foster healthy lifestyle habits and student competencies across the educational community. The training sessions were led by instructors Jonathan Morales Espinoza and Daniela Cruz Barbosa.

Workshops Align Lesson Plans with Municipal Sports Calendars

The municipal training initiative forms part of a broader collaborative strategy between the Secretaría de Educación and regional sports coordinators at the onset of the school term. Educational authorities scheduled the workshops to align physical education lesson plans directly with upcoming municipal sports competitions and state-level athletic calendars.
