Rizing Zephyr Fukuoka to host U18 tryout on November 29

The Rizing Zephyr Fukuoka youth basketball club will host an open tryout session for rising high school and middle school players on November 29, 2026, aiming to identify prospects for its Under-18 roster, according to club announcements.

Tryout Schedule and Venue Details at Island Eye Court MIRAIBA

The evaluation session is scheduled from 15:00 to 17:00 local time on Sunday, November 29, 2026, with check-in beginning at 14:45. The club has booked Island Eye Court MIRAIBA, located at 6-6-6 Kashioteraha, Higashi Ward, Fukuoka, as the host venue for the afternoon.

Eligible participants include students currently enrolled in the third year of junior high school or the first year of high school as of April 2026. Applicants must complete registration through the organization’s dedicated online portal before the deadline on Saturday, November 28, 2026, at 18:00.

Required Equipment and Administrative Submission Rules

Players attending the session must bring basketball shoes, athletic wear, a towel, a beverage, a change of clothes, their completed registration form, and a signed participation consent form. The club will email the required participation consent form to applicants following online registration, and attendees must hand in the physical document at the check-in desk upon arrival.

Organizers confirmed that basketballs will be provided by the club, meaning participants do not need to bring their own equipment. The organization also stipulated that attendees must maintain their own sports insurance coverage, as personal responsibility applies to any injuries sustained during the tryout.

Youth Development Objectives and Attendance Restrictions

The Rizing Zephyr Fukuoka youth program structures its daily training regimen around five to six sessions per week. The club’s stated developmental goals focus on cultivating socially responsible individuals, energizing the local Fukuoka community, and eventually producing players capable of advancing to the professional top team, national teams, and international competition.

Due to spatial limitations at the venue, parents and accompanying guardians are not permitted to observe the tryouts from inside the facility. Families needing alternate arrangements or having inquiries regarding scheduling conflicts are instructed to contact the Rizing Zephyr Fukuoka Youth Office directly via email at [email protected].
