The 2024 Porsche Sports Cup Deutschland concluded its 12-race season across six weekends at the Hockenheimring, crowning Rasmus Vendelbo as overall champion alongside a roster of class winners in the ADAC Racing Weekend series. Danish driver Vendelbo, racing for SRS Team Sorg Rennsport, secured the overall title after dominating the Porsche Sprint Challenge Deutschland GT4 class with 10 victories.
Hockenheimring Finale Delivers Last-Minute GT3 Thriller
Mild sunshine and 21 degrees Celsius greeted spectators on the grandstands as the Porsche Sprint Challenge Deutschland GT3 and GT4 grids formed for the final 30-minute race of the season. Pole-sitter Levin Gelf launched his 510-horsepower Porsche 911 GT3 Cup into the lead during the flying start, maintaining command through a turbulent contest interrupted by two safety-car periods. Gelf crossed the start-finish line mere tenths of a second before the race clock expired, entering what he thought was the final tour.
Chemnitz driver Joel Hohmann of East Racing spotted an opening on that closing lap, executing a decisive pass to take the checkered flag first. Hohmann secured his third seasonal victory in the GT3 category following previous wins at Oschersleben and the Red Bull Ring. Gelf settled for second place, while Krzysztof Gorny of Forch Racing by Atlas Ward claimed third overall and top honors in the ProAm division.

Class Champions and Team Honors Decided
Beyond the overall standings, individual and team titles were finalized across multiple categories as the season drew to a close. Jan Antoszewski of Jachu Racing triumphed in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Deutschland GT3 championship, while Josef Hrdlicka of Micanek Motorsport captured first place in the GT3 ProAm classification powered by Michelin. In the team standings, SRS Team Sorg Rennsport claimed the championship trophy.
Within the GT4 ranks, Talent Pool driver Nikodem Sobczyk of Nikos Racing earned the victory trophy for the final race, finishing ahead of Bruno Görtz of Geparda-Racing. Ragnar Simuland of SRS Team Sorg Rennsport took third place while piloting a Porsche Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport as a Talent Pool driver, adding to his earlier success in claiming first place in Class 1b with a 2019 Porsche Cayman GT4 Clubsport.
Daniel Reiter Claims ProAm Drivers Crown
The GT4 ProAm category powered by Michelin saw Piotr Szukalski of Forch Racing by Atlas Ward win the final race ahead of Mykhailo Kohan of GT Sports and Daniel Reiter of Reiter Racing by campus-event.com. Despite finishing third in the race, Cologne driver Reiter secured enough points to claim the ProAm drivers’ crown.
Project manager Dawid Kurzyca reflected on the championship’s conclusion, noting the strong community spirit and competitive racing witnessed across the six event weekends hosted alongside the ADAC Racing Weekend. Fans unable to attend the Hockenheimring finale can stream the full race replays on the official Porsche Deutschland YouTube channel.
