Pamukkale Belediyesi 61 Mahallede Park ve Basketbol Sahalarını Yeniliyor

Pamukkale Municipality is currently undertaking a district-wide infrastructure project to renovate parks, green spaces, and basketball courts across its 61 neighborhoods. The initiative, which covers an area of approximately 823 square kilometers, aims to address long-standing maintenance issues while introducing new social and recreational facilities for residents, according to reports from Denizli Yeni Olay and Denizli Muhabir.

Basketball Court Safety and Repairs

Municipal crews are focused on upgrading the safety and durability of basketball courts throughout the district center. Maintenance operations include the repair, assembly, and welding of upper support profiles and corner posts. Furthermore, workers are replacing worn-out protective wire fencing with new PVC-coated alternatives to extend the lifespan of the facilities and ensure a safer environment for users, as noted by both Denizli Yeni Olay and Denizli Muhabir.

Revitalization of Kayıhan and Güzelköy Parks

Major renovation projects are underway in the Kayıhan and Güzelköy neighborhoods. In Kayıhan, the park located at the intersection of 2002 and 2003 streets is undergoing a comprehensive redesign. The project includes grading and excavation work, with plans to install walking paths, modern children’s play equipment, outdoor fitness gear, seating areas, and solar-powered lighting. The project also includes plant landscaping to make the area more functional for residents. In Güzelköy, a 5,000-square-meter children’s park is nearing completion. Following the installation of hard-ground surfaces and signage, crews are currently finishing landscaping, with the site set to feature dedicated areas for family relaxation and community events. The municipality plans to open the space to the public once final arrangements are complete.

Opening of the Accessible Life Park in İncilipınar

The municipality has officially opened the Engelsiz Yaşam Parkı (Accessible Life Park) in the İncilipınar neighborhood. Designed to support independent movement for individuals with disabilities, the facility includes specialized play areas for children with sensory sensitivities. The park’s design incorporates natural shade and the planting of medicinal and aromatic herbs to create a versatile environment for various age groups. Officials noted that the park is intended to allow children with diverse needs to play together in the same environment.

Planned Development for Pamukkale Neighborhood

Plans are in place for a new 1,500-square-meter park in the Pamukkale neighborhood, situated adjacent to the local marketplace. The project is intended to provide a resting area for both local residents and shoppers. The planned site will feature children’s play groups, outdoor exercise equipment, and dedicated seating areas. While the project is confirmed, municipal officials have not yet released a definitive timeline for its completion.

District-Wide Maintenance Strategy

Pamukkale Mayor Ali Rıza Ertemur stated that the ongoing works are part of a systematic program designed to resolve issues identified across all 61 neighborhoods. “We have identified the problems in all streets of our 61 neighborhoods, which constitute the largest district of our Denizli with a surface area of approximately 823 square kilometers,” Ertemur said. He emphasized that the municipality is addressing these maintenance needs gradually, with the primary goal of increasing public access to safe sports and recreational facilities. Ertemur added that the administration is specifically working to increase areas where young people can play sports, children can play safely, and citizens can rest. The current phase of the district’s infrastructure plan remains focused on executing this maintenance schedule as resources and site conditions permit.
