Olivia Broder to hold public celebration at Alp Klosterberg

After five years working on Alp Klosterberg, host and alpine dairyman Olivia Broder is stepping down from her role, as reported. Broder, alongside her family and support team, will mark her departure on Saturday, October 31, with a public celebration featuring live music and traditional food.

A Final Celebration on Alp Klosterberg

The closing event begins at 1:00 p.m. local time with performances by the Örgelibuebä, followed by music from the Echo vom Stöcklichrüz at 19:00 UTC+1. The menu features Broder’s homemade «Alpschwii-Voressen» alongside pork bratwurst served with onion sauce and spätzli.

Broder stated she chose to leave while operations are at their peak. Operating the alpine site involved organizing numerous events, from birthday parties to weddings, alongside a diverse musical program spanning Ländler, Schlager, rock, and country genres.

Building a Community Destination

Visitor numbers grew steadily over the five-year tenure, driven by a straightforward and unpretentious approach to hospitality. Broder credited her parents, Priska and Werni, as well as her dedicated crew, noting that teamwork was essential to establishing the location as a popular regional excursion spot.
