Team Esbjerg’s 37–23 victory over Horsens was marred by the incident. Mörk collided with a referee while attempting to be substituted. The team’s Swedish coach, Tomas Axnér, later told the club’s website that the collision left the players shaken. “It affected us a bit, and we were also a bit shaken after it happened. The players didn’t even know what had occurred,” Axnér said.

Mörk was carried off the court and taken to the dressing room before being hospitalized. The injury is believed to be to her foot, though the severity remains unclear.
