Nike Structure 26 Debuts in Football Grey with Full-Length ReactX Foam

The Nike Structure 26 arrives on shelves across Japan on October 5, 2026, bringing a refined football grey colorway and a complete midsole redesign to Nike’s long-standing stability running line. Priced at 18,700 yen including tax, the new model will be available directly through Nike’s official online storefront, sneakerwars.jp reported.

For more than three decades, the Structure franchise has occupied a specific niche in Nike’s road running lineup, balancing cushioning and support alongside the energy return of the Pegasus and the maximum plushness of the Vomero. The Structure 26 incorporates feedback from elite athletes and everyday runners, alongside data from the Nike Sports Research Lab, to reshape how the shoe handles daily training miles.

Nike Structure 26 Debuts in Football Grey with Full-Length ReactX Foam

Full-Length ReactX Midsole Replaces Cushlon and Zoom Air

The most substantial engineering change in the Structure 26 sits beneath the foot, where Nike swapped out the previous Cushlon 3.0 foam and forefoot Zoom Air setup for a full-length ReactX foam midsole. This updated cushioning platform absorbs initial impact across the entire footbed while smoothing out the transition from heel strike to toe-off. To anchor that soft ride, Nike paired the foam with a midfoot support system that wraps both the inner arch and the outer heel, guiding the foot’s natural motion without relying on rigid, unforgiving plastic shanks. A widened ground footprint and a targeted outsole layout—employing flexible, lightweight rubber in the forefoot and high-abrasion rubber at the heel—work in tandem to keep the shoe stable under daily training loads.

Engineered Mesh Upper and Reflective Accents Complete the Football Grey Build

Up top, the Structure 26 uses an engineered mesh upper designed for breathability, complemented by plush padding around the collar and tongue to reduce friction during longer runs. The new football grey colorway features black and metallic silver overlays, offset by bright spruce—a deep blue-green hue—stretching across the oversized lateral Swoosh. Fine stripes wrap the toe box, while a dark streak runs down toward the heel, giving the sculpted sole visual depth alongside hitches of reflective material stitched into high-visibility zones. The shoe tips the scales at approximately 321 grams for a men’s size 28cm, maintaining a 10mm offset from heel to toe.
