Nguyễn Thùy Linh to compete in Arctic Open and Denmark Open

Vietnamese badminton player Nguyễn Thùy Linh will return to European competition in October to contest two tournaments in Finland and Denmark. The schedule follows her recent appearance at the 20th Asian Games (ASIAD 20) in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan, where she exited the women’s singles draw in the round of 32.

Arctic Open Assignment in Finland

Nguyễn Thùy Linh is scheduled to compete first at the Arctic Open 2026, a BWF World Tour Super 500 event taking place in Finland from October 6 through October 11. According to the tournament registration and draw results, she faces Singapore’s Yeo Jia Min in the opening round of the women’s singles bracket. Historical records show that Thùy Linh has not yet advanced to the final round of any BWF World Tour Super 500 tournament.

Denmark Open Super 750 Challenge

Following her matches in Finland, Nguyễn Thùy Linh travels to Denmark to participate in the Denmark Open 2026, scheduled for October 13 to October 18. The tournament holds a higher BWF World Tour Super 750 classification. Tournament organizers will conduct the professional draw next week, and it was noted that Thùy Linh did not secure a seeded position in the field.
