The Nagoya Diamond Dolphins defeated the Shimane Susanoo Magic 90-80 at Bandai Namco Arena Matsue on Oct. 4, securing their fourth victory to open the B.League Premier season. Aaron Henry led all scorers with 25 points while shooting 10-of-13 from the field.

Nagoya Builds Early Lead With Paint Dominance

Nagoya opened the game with an 8-0 scoring run, establishing defensive pressure that disrupted Shimane’s rhythm early. Handlers orchestrated an efficient offense that generated 50 points inside the paint alone by the final whistle. Henry added five rebounds and five assists to his game-high point total, while Takumi Saito contributed 16 points and nine assists. Ryan Luther chipped in 16 points and five rebounds, and Scott Ehaton added 15 points and six rebounds as all four Nagoya starters reached double figures in scoring.

Shimane suffered its second home defeat despite a productive night from rookie Shota Arai. Nick Kay recorded 13 points, eight rebounds, four assists, and two steals over 34 minutes for Shimane, while Jordan Heath added 16 points and Yudai Okada scored 15. Dexter Dennis, who entered the contest as a primary offensive option for Shimane, struggled to a 2-of-12 shooting night from the field and finished with six points.
