Montpellier and 3mtkd Launch €5 Holiday Scheme

Montpellier municipal officials and the 3MTKD association have launched a €5 youth holiday scheme for residents aged 12 to 17, covering bus transport, professional supervision, equipment use, lunch, and an afternoon snack at the Poséidon leisure base during the October 2026 school break, Claap reported.

Transport Details and Schedule for Poséidon Leisure Base

The program runs across three specific dates during the Toussaint holidays: Monday, Oct. 19, 2026; Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2026; and Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2026. Daily operations begin with bus departures at 9:30 a.m. local time from the Esplanade de l’Europe parking lot in Montpellier. Return transport arrives back at the same pickup location at 5:30 p.m. local time.

Supervised Adventure Activities and Sports Facilities

Participants rotate through three primary supervised activities led by certified educators and youth animateurs. The schedule includes archery sessions for precision and focus, paintball matches geared toward tactical team play, and monitored tree-climbing courses, known locally as accrobranche. In addition to these structured events, teenagers have open access to auxiliary facilities, including swimming areas, soccer pitches, basketball courts, volleyball nets, badminton setups, teqball tables, minigolf courses, ping-pong tables, and giant chess sets.
