Madrid E-Prix Expands to Two Days and Prepares for GEN4 Debut at Jarama
The Madrid E-Prix will return to the Circuito de Madrid Jarama-RACE on June 26 and 27, 2027, expanding to a two-day competition format alongside the introduction of new generation electric cars. Following an inaugural event in 2026 that sold out its tickets, organizers added a second race to accommodate high public demand, positioning the Spanish circuit as the final European stop before the World Championship concludes in Asia.
Ticket Pricing and Weekend Access Options
Fans can purchase tickets for the upcoming event through Fever, with single-day passes starting at 80 euros and full weekend access priced from 130 euros. The expansion of the program arrives as the circuit works to secure a stable presence on the international calendar. The first edition of the Madrid E-Prix counted on the presence of Felipe VI, prompting the organization to incorporate a second race and open the possibility of assisting also on Sunday.
Official Pre-Season Testing Schedules for GEN4 Monopostos
Before competitive racing resumes in June, the Madrid venue will host official pre-season testing from November 16 to 20, 2026. These five test days will give teams their first prolonged working sessions with the GEN4 machines, which signal a major technical leap for the series. The new generation elevates power output to 600 kilowatts—roughly 816 horsepower—and introduces active all-wheel drive systems. According to published specifications for the category, these vehicles are capable of reaching speeds of 335 kilometers per hour and accelerating from zero to 100 kilometers per hour in approximately 1.9 seconds.
Pepe Martí Faces the Local Crowd in CUPRA KIRO Colors
Pepe Martí, driver for CUPRA KIRO, will contest the weekend in front of home supporters following his initial experience on the Jarama circuit during the prior season. His presence highlights the local interest in a championship running its most extensive schedule to date—a 21-race calendar spanning 11 countries. After concluding the European leg of the season in Madrid, the championship will travel onward to Shanghai and Tokyo to determine the final world titles.
