Le Quoc Phong to return at 2026 national Games

Le Quoc Phong is set to return to competitive action at the 10th National Sports Games in 2026 after missing the 20th Asian Games due to injury. The archer stands as the premier competitor for Vietnam’s national men’s individual recurve archery team.

Return to Training Following Asian Games Absence

Last September, Le Quoc Phong had to withdraw from the 20th Asian Games (ASIAD 20) in Japan right before the competition began after sustaining a physical injury. The coaching staff of the Vietnamese national archery team confirmed that the athlete has fully recovered his health and recently resumed training sessions ahead of the upcoming national calendar.

Inscrit par son agent Vinh Long for the National Games

His agent, Vinh Long, officially registered Le Quoc Phong on the entry list for the 10th National Sports Games scheduled for 2026. Team leadership notes that if he maintains strong form upon his return, he will emerge as a gold-medal contender in the men’s recurve events at the Games.

The archery tournament for the 10th National Sports Games will run from November 20 to November 30 at Lam Son Stadium in the Vung Tau ward of Ho Chi Minh City. The competition program features a total of 32 medal sets across both recurve and compound bow categories.
