Kasımpaşa Beats Eyüpspor 1-0 With Benedyczak Goal

Kasımpaşa secured a 1-0 victory against Eyüpspor during the ninth week of the Süper Lig. Played at the Esenyurt Necmi Kadıoğlu Stadyumu, the fixture hinged on a 37th-minute strike that lifted the visitors to 16 points for the campaign while leaving Eyüpspor stalled at three points.

First-Half Breakthrough by Benedyczak

The decisive moment arrived late in the first half when Kasımpaşa capitalized on a defensive miscue. Eyüpspor defender El Yamiq mishandled a pass while attempting to build out from the back, allowing Ali Yavuz Kol to intercept the ball. Kol immediately laid the ball off to Haris Hajradinovic, who flicked it on without hesitation. Positioned on the left side of the penalty area, Benedyczak ran onto the pass and drove a low left-footed shot into the far corner of the net to break the deadlock.

In the 13th minute, Hajradinovic pulled a pass back from the right side of the box for Mamadou Fall (Mendes), whose first-time right-footed shot was gathered comfortably by goalkeeper Emre Bilgin. Ali Yavuz Kol tested Bilgin again in the 31st minute with a low, long-range effort from the left wing that the young goalkeeper dropped to his right to secure. Massanga also came close for the visitors just before the break, firing a right-footed shot from outside the right angle that sailed narrowly over the crossbar.

Eyüpspor Pressure Fails to Breach Gianniotis

Trailing at the interval, Eyüpspor pushed for an equalizer in the second half but found Kasımpaşa goalkeeper Andreas Gianniotis and his defense unyielding. Just two minutes after the restart, Benedyczak nearly doubled the lead when he chased down a long ball from the left wing and fired a sharp angled shot from the right side that Emre Bilgin pushed around the post for a corner kick.

Eyüpspor’s best openings arrived midway through the half and deep into stoppage time. In the 60th minute, Talha Ülvan collected a loose ball on the edge of the box and struck a low shot straight at Gianniotis. Later in the 68th minute, a pass from Jesurun Rak-Sakyi found Mendes near the penalty spot, but Gianniotis reacted quickly to turn the attempt away. In the third minute of stoppage time, Eyüpspor manufactured one final chance from a corner kick on the left; Anıl Yaşar rose highest at the back post to meet the cross with a header, but Gianniotis tipped the ball over to preserve the clean sheet and secure the 1-0 final scoreline.
