Juventus has outlined a broad infrastructural and commercial strategy following a capital increase approved by the club’s board of directors, Tuttosport reported. The initiatives focus on enhancing matchday operations at the Allianz Stadium, modernizing medical and hospitality assets, and evaluating potential training grounds for youth and women’s teams.
Allianz Stadium Hospitality Expansion and Revenue Growth
Club executives have targeted commercial enhancements at the Allianz Stadium following improvement work completed during the summer. The venue added 182 new seats, including 80 in premium hospitality tiers, as the organization seeks to diversify ticketing options and expand access to private lounges and exclusive bars.
Stadium-generated revenue has tripled since the arena opened in 2011, excluding pandemic-affected seasons. The facility brought in more than €90 million during the most recent campaign, which included €8 million from hospitality and €2 million from significant initiatives such as summer concerts and multi-sport exhibitions.
Asset Development Across J Medical and Turin Properties
Beyond the stadium bowl, financial resources are directed toward core club properties including the J Medical center, the Juventus Museum, and the J Hotel. The hotel, acquired outright a year ago, has begun generating profits after navigating post-pandemic financial headwinds.
The club plans an expansion for J Medical, targeting a new branch in central Turin away from the main headquarters near the stadium. Meanwhile, the residual book value of primary infrastructure—encompassing the Allianz Stadium alongside training centers at Continassa and Vinovo—stands at approximately €180 million, though market valuations exceed that figure significantly.
Evaluating Companion Facilities for Women’s and Youth Squads
Juventus is exploring venue strategies for the Juventus Women and Next Gen squads, drawing conceptual parallels to Barcelona’s 6,000-capacity Estadio Johann Cruijff located adjacent to the Camp Nou. Club leadership has monitored the PalaTorino area near the Allianz Stadium as a potential site for a smaller, dedicated home ground once current concessions expire.
The organization is simultaneously active in developing the Venaria federal center near Continassa. Current operations see the women’s side play matches in Biella and the Next Gen side in Alessandria, limiting localized fan engagement and independent revenue streams compared to having dedicated home facilities in Turin.
