Judo-Verein Hohe Mark 81 unternimmt Ausflug zum Ketteler Hof

Nearly 70 Judoka Travel to Ketteler Hof

Members, siblings, and parents from Judo-Verein Hohe Mark 81 Wulfen traveled to the Ketteler Hof amusement park in Lavesum, according to a report by meinDorsten.de. The club organized the large-scale excursion under sunny skies and temperatures around 20 degrees Celsius. After gathering for a group photo in the morning, participants divided into small groups to explore the extensive facility.

Attractions and Board Activities During the Park Visit

The itinerary for the young and old judoka featured large slides, playgrounds, a summer toboggan run, giant bouncing cushions, and water play areas. The activities ran continuously until the club board invited the group to an ice cream break at approximately 1:00 p.m. Following the pause, the participants resumed park activities to exhaust their remaining energy before heading home in the late afternoon.

Funding and Community Support for the Excursion

The large group outing was made possible by a financial donation from Sparkasse Vest Recklinghausen. The funding was secured through a successful public voting campaign on the VestFuture platform with the backing of numerous supporters. Club representatives noted that the event highlighted the organization’s focus on community spirit beyond regular training sessions on the judo mat.

Future Plans and Training Information for Wulfen

Following the positive reception of the trip, participants discussed a potential follow-up event named “Ketteler Hof 2.0” or “Ketteler Hof 3.0” for the following year. Meanwhile, Judo-Verein Hohe Mark 81 continues to host introductory trial training sessions on Mondays and Wednesdays for individuals interested in joining the sport.
