Jordan Brand is launching a comprehensive Space Jam collection featuring five distinct Air Jordan 11 interpretations, specialized apparel, and a multi-part documentary series to mark the 30th anniversary of the classic film’s theatrical release.
The 1992 Hare Jordan Genesis
The cultural bridge connecting Michael Jordan and Bugs Bunny dates back well before the 1996 cinematic release of Space Jam. In 1992, the basketball icon and the animated rabbit appeared together in an original Hare Jordan commercial for Nike, establishing a dynamic that paved the way for the feature-length film years later.
For the upcoming 30th-anniversary celebration, Jordan Brand reunited with Wieden+Kennedy and members of the Warner Bros. Animation team to develop a unified campaign titled Greatness Is Never Out of Reach. The initiative reimagines the memorable stretching scene from the film, bringing together contemporary cultural figures such as Azzi Fudd, Aaron Judge, Rema, and Teyana Taylor.
Five Air Jordan 11 Iterations Feature Film Designs
At the center of the footwear lineup are five distinct iterations of the Air Jordan 11 silhouette. The Air Jordan 11 Retro OG (model CT8012-900) stays faithful to the color blocking and materials Michael Jordan wore on screen, featuring royal blue accents, double-row embroidery on the heel, and a Jumpman Jam tongue label packaged in a reproduction of the year 2000 Michael Jordan Face Box.
Additional sneaker variants include the Air Jordan 11 Green Screen (IQ5700-900) and the Air Jordan 11 Magic Ball (IZ1800-200 and IX6375-001). The Magic Ball design draws direct inspiration from the sequence where the Monstars capture NBA players’ talents in a glowing basketball, utilizing a synthetic leather upper that shifts between four distinct colors depending on the viewer’s perspective.

Performance variations expand the collection onto the diamond and the gridiron. The Air Jordan 11 Baseball Cleat adapts the iconic upper design with lightweight cushioning and specialized traction finished in the Magic Ball blue palette. A corresponding Air Jordan 11 American Football Cleat was produced exclusively as a promotional item and will not be offered at retail. The broader footwear range also includes the Jordan First 1 Space Jam (IM5771-600), Air Jordan 3 Retro Space Jam Lola Bunny (IZ1694-600), Air Jordan 1 Low SE Magic Ball, and an Air Jordan 1 Low Golf Spike Space Jam.
Apparel Range Translates Film Elements into Wearable Pieces
The companion apparel range translates classic film elements into wearable pieces, anchored by a varsity jacket featuring faux-wool construction, retro patches, trading-card-inspired graphics, and a Monstar-themed galaxy lining. A Lola Bunny longsleeve jersey adopts the glossy aesthetic of late-1990s basketball uniforms, displaying the number 23 and a character graphic across the back.
Hoodies, crewnecks, fleece pants, T-shirts, shorts, and a basketball tank round out the textile offerings. The garments lean heavily into archival graphic cues, utilizing collegiate lettering and color combinations lifted directly from the Tune Squad universe.
Space Jam Beyond the Jam Documentary Series
Parallel to the physical merchandise rollout, Jordan Brand is premiering Space Jam: Beyond the Jam, a six-part YouTube documentary series produced by Jesse Collins Entertainment in cooperation with Warner Horizon Unscripted Television. The mini-documentary explores the production history and enduring cultural footprint of the film through never-before-heard stories and fresh commentary from Michael Jordan and other key participants.

The episodic release serves as the launchpad for a renewed editorial focus on long-form video content on Jordan Brand’s official YouTube channel under the banner of Jordan TV.
November Release Details
With the sole exception of the unreleased American Football Cleat promo pairs, the complete Jordan Brand Space Jam collection releases globally on November 5. Stockists carrying the anniversary inventory include select retail partners such as AFEW-Store, Asphaltgold, and BSTN.
