The roster features talent from across Japan’s high school and university ranks, including 187-centimeter inside player Fumi Ishimewa from Kyoto Seika Gakuen High School, alongside Oka Gakuen High School trio Miyu Takeuchi, Yumeha Mizubayashi, and Riko Katsube.
The squad maintains an average height of 172.4 centimeters and an average age of 17 years old.
Japan Faces Chinese Taipei Malaysia China in Group B
Japan enters Group B of the eight-team Division A tournament alongside China, Chinese Taipei, and Malaysia. Group A features Australia, South Korea, New Zealand, and the Philippines. The group phase runs from October 4 to October 6 at the Seremban venue, with all times listed in local venue time.

The tournament schedule opens on Sunday, October 4, as Japan faces Chinese Taipei at 16:30 local time (17:30 JST). Group play continues Monday, October 5, against Malaysia at 19:00 local time (20:00 JST), before concluding against China on Tuesday, October 6, at 16:30 local time (17:30 JST).
Placement Matches Lead to Championship Final on October 10
Following the round-robin group phase, teams advance to the placement and knockout rounds determined by their group standings. Thursday, October 8, features the semi-final qualification matches alongside the seventh and eighth-place classification games. The semi-finals and the fifth and sixth-place playoffs are set for Friday, October 9.
The tournament concludes on Saturday, October 10, with the third-place playoff and the championship final to decide the Division A titleholder.
