Ho Chi Minh City Roller Sports aims for overall victory

The Ho Chi Minh City roller sports team aims to secure the overall victory at the upcoming National Sports Games, following a strong run of domestic results.

Championships in Hanoi and Tay Ninh

Roller sports in Ho Chi Minh City have experienced a rise in participation and structure since the founding of the Vietnamese Roller Skating and Skating Federation in 2021. The municipal team underscored its domestic standing by capturing 17 gold medals at the 2026 national elite championships in Hanoi. Shortly after that performance, the squad added 16 more gold medals at the 2026 national youth championships held in Tay Ninh.

Gia Dinh Stadium Competitions

The 10th National Sports Games 2026 will mark the first time roller skating features in the competition program. A total of 14 medal sets are slated for the roller sports events, split between ten sets for roller skating and four sets for skateboarding. Competition runs from November 29 to December 2 at the Gia Dinh Stadium in the Binh Thanh district.
