Helsingør Firmaidræt opens registration for 2026-2027 badminton series

Members of Pusterummet looking to take their athletic routines beyond the gym floor can now register for the Helsingør Firmaidræt badminton tournament series spanning the 2026–2027 season, featuring a match fee of 250 kroner per double pairing. The upcoming competition circuit is structured for both mix and men’s double formats across five scheduled weekend matchdays.

Tournament Schedule and Match Venues in Helsingør

Play takes place at Badminton-Hallen, located at Ndr. Strandvej 14 in Helsingør. Matches are scheduled from 14.00 to approximately 17.30 local venue time on five separate Sundays: November 1, 2026, November 22, 2026, January 10, 2027, February 14, 2027, and March 7, 2027. An additional standalone event, the Helsingør Championship in doubles, is set for Sunday, April 4, 2027, operating during the same afternoon hours at the Badminton-Hallen.

Registration Closes October 19

Registration for the tournament carries a final deadline of Monday, October 19, 2026. Entrants must submit their registration details directly to Jørgen Kjeldsen, located at Lonevej 32, 3060 Espergærde, by phone at 42559755 or via email at [email protected]. Registration is binding. Payment of the 250 kr. double fee is collected on the first day of play, with cash and MobilePay accepted. Official match programs will be published on the website www.hgfi.dk one week prior to the opening round.

Players Must Stick to One Division

Competition rules follow the standard framework established by Dansk Firma Idræt Forbund, though specific adjustments apply to badminton entries. Participants are restricted to a single division per player, prohibiting athletes from entering multiple categories. Teams utilizing substitute players must declare their reserve names during the initial tournament registration. Regulations dictate that a designated reserve may be listed by multiple teams, but can only step in for one specific person and participate in a single bracket per matchday, while adhering to all established player classification standards.
