Four men have been arrested across California and Georgia in connection with the February 9 shooting of San Francisco 49ers defensive end Keion White at a Mission District nightclub. The multi-state operation, dubbed Operation D-Line, yielded illegal firearms, thousands of rounds of ammunition, and nearly 15 pounds of narcotics following an eight-month probe.
What began as an isolated nightclub shooting during Super Bowl weekend in San Francisco has snowballed into a sweeping multi-state drug and weapons case. Law enforcement agencies executed more than 50 search warrants and deployed over 250 personnel to track down four suspects linked to the violence at the Dahlia Club, according to San Francisco police.
Operation D-Line and the Nightclub Shooting
The incident unfolded at approximately 4 a.m. on February 9, 2026, in the 1700 block of Mission Street. Keion White, a defensive end who joined the 49ers after a trade from the New England Patriots, was hosting a private gathering in the downstairs VIP area of the club after attending Super Bowl LX at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara. Witnesses reported a verbal altercation before multiple suspects, some brandishing firearms, confronted the player, leading to a physical altercation where White was struck in the ankle.

White later recalled that the chaos caught him by surprise. I don’t really take a lot of things seriously, so I didn’t know I got shot until like five minutes after I was walking around
he told reporters, noting that he broke his talus bone during the incident.
Arrests Across California and Georgia
Following a months-long investigation, authorities closed in on four suspects during a coordinated sweep on October 7 and October 9.

- Gregory Walker, 36, of Mountain House, California, was arrested in Los Angeles by the Los Angeles Police Department. Prosecutors state he fired the weapon that wounded White and charged him with assault with a semiautomatic firearm, felon in possession of a gun, and inflicting great bodily injury.
- Curtis Green, 35, was taken into custody without incident at his home in Irvine, California, facing misdemeanor charges for brandishing a firearm and carrying a concealed, loaded weapon in public.
- Antoine Washington, 36, was arrested in Stockton, California, by local sheriff’s deputies and San Francisco officers, who recovered a loaded gun, over 120 oxycodone pills, and roughly $6,691 in cash.
- Marquis Davis, 38, was apprehended at his Atlanta residence by the Atlanta Police Department on an SFPD warrant.
Seizures of Firearms and Narcotics
While the investigation started with the nightclub shooting, multi-agency searches uncovered vast quantities of illicit drugs and illegal weapons. At Davis’s Atlanta home, officers seized an illegal firearm alongside 3,842 grams of fentanyl, 1,026 grams of methamphetamine, 979 grams of cocaine, 820 grams of MDMA, and 59 pounds of marijuana, according to police reports. In total, the sweeping probe netted nearly 15 pounds of narcotics.

This kind of violence is unacceptable in San Francisco, and we devoted significant resources to holding the perpetrators of this incident accountable.

Legal Proceedings and Extradition Efforts
San Francisco District Attorney Brooke Jenkins emphasized the city’s zero-tolerance stance on gun violence following a Super Bowl weekend that ended in bloodshed. Walker and Green were booked into the San Francisco County Jail and made their first court appearances at the Hall of Justice, where defense attorneys indicated plans to contest the allegations.

Meanwhile, prosecutors are working to extradite Washington and Davis to San Francisco. Davis faces additional local charges in Georgia, including multiple counts of trafficking controlled substances, gang-related offenses, and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony.
Return to the Gridiron
Despite undergoing surgery after being shot in the ankle earlier this year, White has returned to play in the 49ers’ first five games, recording three sacks. As legal proceedings continue, Green and Walker are scheduled to return to court for further arraignment proceedings.
