FFTA Archery Quiz Success: 800+ Youth Archers Promote Safe Sport

The Fédération Française de Tir à l’Arc (FFTA) announced that more than 800 young archers participated in its recent digital awareness quiz, “Bien vivre le tir à l’arc dans mon club” (Living well with archery in my club).

Educational outreach for young archers

The quiz is designed to reinforce the principles outlined in the FFTA’s annual educational booklet, which is distributed to young members across French clubs. The program focuses on embedding core values—specifically respect, tolerance, and solidarity—into the daily practice of the sport. By presenting these concepts through a 10-question online format, the FFTA aims to encourage younger participants to adopt responsible and respectful attitudes toward their peers, coaches, and club leaders.

Winners of the FFTA engagement initiative

Out of the 800 participants, 277 archers successfully answered every question correctly. Following the completion of the quiz, the federation held a random drawing to reward those who demonstrated high engagement with the material. The winners, representing clubs across France, received equipment prizes including archery backpacks and grip trainers.

Preventing violence in French archery

The quiz represents one facet of a broader FFTA policy aimed at creating a safe environment for all practitioners, ranging from youth to adult members and club administrators. The federation continues to promote the “Bien vivre le tir à l’arc dans mon club” booklet as a primary resource for clubs looking to maintain a serene and convivial practice environment. Interested members and club officials can access the full prevention plan and the educational booklet through the official FFTA website.
