Ferran Torres earned 40 percent of the total votes to claim the Union Nationale des Footballeurs Professionnels (UNFP) Ligue 1 Player of the Month award for September, capturing the monthly honor ahead of AS Monaco forward Paris Brunner and Paris FC’s Lassine Sinayoko. Brunner finished with 32 percent of the vote, while Sinayoko gathered 28 percent.

UNFP noted in a statement published on a Friday that the recognition rewards a successful Parisian start for a player who came to Ligue 1 as a world champion and quickly justified that status on the pitch.
