Corpay Extends Partnership as Official FX Provider of the WBSC

Corpay Cross-Border has extended its agreement to serve as the exclusive Official Foreign Exchange Payments Provider for the World Baseball Softball Confederation in a multi-year deal announced from Toronto. The international governing body for baseball and softball relies on the corporate payments provider to manage currency risks and process global transactions across its member federations.

Multi-Year Partnership Extension Keeps Corpay as Exclusive Provider

The renewal continues a business relationship that began in 2022. Under the terms of the agreement, Corpay’s cross-border division will continue supplying currency risk management solutions and access to its global payments platform for the WBSC and its affiliated national organizations. The arrangement covers financial operations across multiple continents as the federation coordinates international tournaments and prepares for upcoming global multi-sport events.

“Over the past four years, we’ve had the privilege of serving as the Official FX Payments Provider for the WBSC,” said Brad Loder, Chief Marketing Officer for Corpay Cross-Border Solutions, in a statement released by the company. “Our team looks forward to continuing to support the WBSC with its FX and cross-border payment needs as the organization continues to grow the sport of Baseball/Softball globally, including their participation as official medal disciplines at the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic Games.”

“As an international sports federation operating across multiple continents and currencies, having a trusted partner that simplifies cross-border payments and helps manage foreign exchange risk is essential,” WBSC President Riccardo Fraccari said in the announcement. “This renewed agreement reflects the strength of our collaboration and our shared commitment to supporting the continued growth and global popularity of international Baseball/Softball.”
