Following group play held across the province, the four clubs advanced through their respective regional triangulars to reach the provincial championship series, which will take place on the weekend of October 17 and 18 at a venue yet to be determined by the Federación Santafesina.

Unión Santo Tomé and San Lorenzo Claim Northern Group Honors

Action in Zona Norte A unfolded at Independiente’s venue in Ataliva, where Unión Santo Tomé swept its matches. The visiting side opened with a 91-13 victory over Sportivo Villa Minetti before defeating the local squad 47-27 to claim the group title. Meanwhile, in Rafaela, San Lorenzo de Tostado captured the Zona Norte B bracket. The northern representatives opened with a 98-58 win against host club Independiente and secured their advancement by defeating Centenario de Gálvez 68-54.

Talleres and Náutico Dominate Southern Triangulars

In the southern brackets, Talleres de Villa Gobernador Gálvez made the most of home-court advantage in Zona Sur A. The team opened play with a 70-30 win against Olimpia de Venado Tuerto and followed up by defeating Sport Club Cañadense 70-53. In Zona Sur B, host club Náutico de Rosario advanced by defeating Peñarol de Elortondo 85-50 in its opener before also earning a 70-53 victory over Sport Club Cañadense to claim the final qualification spot.

The four advancing clubs will face each other in a round-robin tournament format during the weekend of October 17 and 18 to determine the provincial champion.
