Club Announces Autumn and November Work Hours for Members

Members of the club have opportunities to complete required work hours during autumn and November.

Weekday maintenance windows during autumn break

The club’s groundskeepers have opened weekday slots for members during the autumn school break. These sessions are scheduled to run from 08:00 to 14:00 local time. Members interested in fulfilling their hours during these weekdays must coordinate directly with Mehmet Eyice or Volker Biehl. Registration for these sessions is managed via phone or WhatsApp at 015563914581.

November Saturday work schedule

For members unable to assist during the week, the club has designated four Saturdays in November for facility upkeep. Maintenance work will take place on November 7, 14, 21, and 28. Each session is scheduled from 09:00 to 14:00. Participants may begin their shift at either 09:00 or 10:00, with a requirement to complete at least two hours of work. Registration for these specific Saturday sessions must be submitted via email to the club’s administrative office.

Annual work requirements and financial penalties

Active members are required to contribute five hours of labor per year. This mandate applies to all active members from the year they turn 14 up to and including 64 years. New members in their first year perform fewer hours according to the time of their entry. The club enforces these requirements through a financial mechanism: as compensation for unperformed working hours, 10,00 € per unperformed hour will be collected in December.

Credit for volunteer service and equipment guidelines

Members who have already helped unpaid at tournaments or in game operations, e.g., as referees, can have this time certified via the trainers or supervisors and submit the proof to the administrative office. Fahrdienste zu Punktspielen gelten nicht als Arbeitseinsatz. While the club provides all necessary maintenance equipment, members are required to bring their own work gloves.
