Chiba Jets add LG Gill to roster as Matt Costello joins injury list

Chiba Jets have added forward LG Gill to their roster following the placement of Matt Costello on the club’s injury list, the organization announced.

LG Gill joins the Chiba Jets as a power forward, measuring 203 centimeters and weighing 95 kilograms.

His professional resume includes stints with the Greensboro Swarm and the Iowa Wolves in the NBA G League during the 2017-18 and 2018-20 seasons, respectively. From there, Gill built an extensive career across Europe, playing for Golden Eagle Ylli in Kosovo during the 2020-21 campaign, Düzce Belediye in Turkey for the 2021-22 season, and BC Apollon Limassol in Cyprus for the 2023-24 season.

Earlier stops in 2024 featured time with Sopron KC in Hungary and Tokyo Hachioji Bee Trains in Japan. Most recently, Gill competed for MZT Skopje in North Macedonia during the 2025-26 season before securing his move to Chiba.
