Posadas hosted the regional outdoor archery tournament at the Complejo Mbareté, drawing more than 50 competitors from across the region under the organization of Club CAPRI.
Club CAPRI Organizes Regional Outdoor Tournament
The archery competition brought together athletes representing the host Club CAPRI, the Asociación Misionera (Amita), Club Centro de Cazadores, Valkiria from Oberá, Campo Grande, La Amistad from Chaco, CEF 4 from Alem, and the San Antonio school. Tournament matches took place at the Complejo Mbareté facility in Posadas.
Official Judges Oversee Fatarco-Homologated Matches
Competition oversight fell to judges Cindy Schock and Daniela Cocco. The tournament operated under the official homologation of the Federación Argentina (Fatarco), ensuring adherence to national sport standards for outdoor archery disciplines.
Recurvo Category Winners Claim Titles
Division champions in the recurve discipline included Marcelo Szydloski taking the men’s title for Amita, Bruno Rostán Vespa winning the under-18 men’s division for Club CAPRI, and Nahiara Cena securing the under-18 women’s crown for the host club. Additional recurve victors featured Nataly Schmidt in the under-15 women’s bracket for Amita and Cristian Rojas in the men’s 50-plus category.
Youth Divisions Highlight Emerging Talent
Younger brackets showcased developing competitors across multiple distance and age classifications. Juan Tschopp of Club CAPRI claimed the under-18 youth promises E30 recurve event, while Lautaro Núñez from Campo Grande won the under-15 E30 division. Further youth victories went to Joel Piñeiro Dos Santos of Campo Grande in the under-13 category and Luisana Zalazar of La Amistad in the under-15 E20 class.
Andino and Argüello Win Compound Titles
Compound division victories went to Marcelo Andino representing Amita in the men’s class, alongside Alejandra Argüello of La Amistad who captured the women’s compound title. In the barebow or raso category, winners included José Orduña and Ana Pasamán Castillo from Club CAPRI, paired with Rubén Cieplinski and Celina Bogado representing Campo Grande.
