The win moved the Browns to a 4-2 record and handed Todd Monken—who previously served as the offensive coordinator for Baltimore—a win against his former team. The outcome came on the strength of a defensive stop and a late offensive drive led by Watson, who finished the game completing 16 of his 26 pass attempts for 164 yards.
Fourth-Quarter Turnover Sparks Browns Comeback
Playing without starting quarterback Lamar Jackson for the second week due to an ankle injury, the Ravens initially built a 10-0 lead through their first two possessions. Tyler Huntley connected with tight end Josh Cuevas on a two-yard touchdown pass for his first career score, and Tyler Loop added a 34-yard field goal.
Baltimore maintained that advantage through three quarters while the Cleveland offense struggled. The turning point arrived midway through the fourth quarter when Browns cornerback Tyson Campbell recovered a fumble by running back Derrick Henry at the Baltimore 35-yard line.
Capitalizing on the turnover, running back Audric Estime scored on a two-yard rushing touchdown with 8:33 remaining on the clock, tying the score at 10-10.
Late-Game Drive Secures AFC North Tie
Following the tying touchdown, the Ravens’ offense stalled, failing to pick up a first down across two separate possessions. Loop missed a 49-yard field goal attempt early in the fourth quarter that could have extended Baltimore’s lead to two possessions.
Taking over possession at their own 20-yard line with 1:59 left in regulation, Watson orchestrated a 62-yard drive over nine plays. The sequence set up Szmyt for the game-winning kick after an earlier 48-yard attempt had fallen short and a subsequent 42-yard try was nullified by a Baltimore offside penalty.
With the 13-10 decision, the Browns improved to 4-2 on the season, matching the Ravens atop the AFC North division standings.
